My Favorite Things

Taking a cue from Oprah, here are a few of my current favorite things:

• V8 Fusion: Because my oldest is acutely aware of any vegetable that touches his plate, we have started giving him this drink (a full serving of fruits and vegetables in each 8 oz serving and no sugars added) for snacks and with some meals. They have several flavors...I just ask him if he wants strawberry juice and he gobbles it up. All parents should check this out!
• Kyle and I rarely watch television now that Amazing Race is over so we've been checking out Season 2 of the The Office (the American version) from Blockbuster. I am somewhat addicted and will now have to wait until Season 3 comes out a long time from now.
• For all you Catan lovers, we received a Catan card game made for 2 people for Christmas (thanks Lisa and Jonathan!). It's like the original, but different in some fun ways. Hoover score: Christine 2, Kyle 0. Had to throw that in there.
• I've been reading "Faithful Women and their Extraordinary God" by Noel Piper and I must say it's one of my favorites of all time. I also like her first one "Treasuring God in our Traditions". I would highly recommend either one (and her advent calendar too!).
