Will completes his kindergarten year on Friday, which is very hard for me to believe. This school year has gone by really, really fast and, as of Friday, we officially have a first grader in our midst. Will has loved kindergarten and has flourished in his classroom. One thing that I am so proud of him in (there are many, but this stands out) is represented by this bag above. It is filled with "sight words", words the kids work on at home to memorize and help them grow in reading skills. Every afternoon, Will and I have worked on these words and, through this time, I've seen a reader emerge. He has learned 775 words over the course of this year! Way to go, Will!

Kindergarten Grad
