Yesterday, Luke brought Baby Jesus home from preschool and carried him everywhere for the rest of the day. I thought this was the best craft ever and his teacher said it was simple to make.
Fill a small pantyhose with batting and tie it off. Draw on hair, eyes, and a mouth. Wrap the baby in cloth (she put a piece of velcro on it so you wrap and unwrap the baby). Shred yellow construction and place in a wrapped shoe box. Place Baby Jesus in the manger and he's ready for play and Christmas Day!

Love this! Thanks for posting!
Anna forwarded me your blog when she saw this! Campbell loved her Baby Jesus, too! She carried him around all afternoon! I was thinking about blogging about it, too! It cracks me up. I think I will keep it and pull it out every year as one of our decorations.
Adorable! I'm definitely going to have to do this with my niece and nephews! Thanks for sharing the good idea.

We used this idea that you passed along with our young ones during our core group Christmas Party... and it was such a success! Thanks so much for passing it along!
This is such a trrific picture of Luke with Baby Jesus!! He looks so proud to be holding him. I wish I'd had this craft idea when we were teaching 4 year olds.
