Happy Fourth of July!
Because you are likely celebrating with friends and family,
today’s post is short and sweet and meant to be a little thank you to all of
you who so faithfully read this blog. Every so often, I’ve offered a few
printables for you. I gathered them in one place for what I hope will be some
encouragement for you on this holiday.
Excerpt:
Jesus, I have come to understand that my submission to you
requires my death. As you modeled how to make yourself of no reputation, help
me to follow your example. Sometimes it’s so difficult to deny myself, to not
desire respect or adoration, to not monitor or maintain my standing in the
church or the community. By your power, help me to give my all—my very life—to you.
Verses for Ministry (notecard version and list version)
Excerpt:
When it feels like my service doesn’t matter:
For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love
which you have shown toward His name, that you have ministered to the saints,
and do minister.
Hebrews 6:10
Such as dips, salads, main dishes, and desserts
Excerpt:
Lord, I want to do this well, but I don’t know how to be a
good church planting wife. I find myself wanting a task list or trying to play
the role I think I’m supposed to play. I know, however, that more than anything
else, you want my heart. Help me to keep a soft heart before you and to
joyfully embrace this calling.
Enjoy!
